TWD~Lemon Sour Cream Ice Cream

Well, we thought that blueberry lemon ice cream would be wonderful, just not with the special dessert we were planning on making for our mother. So we changed it a little..........and it was sooooo yummy! I loved the sour cream addition! Oh the dessert was a Raspberry Almond White Chocolate Bread............and of course we used our raw cows milk for the ice cream...............could it ever get any better? Well maybe if we had made the sour cream............next time!

This looks awesome, and it's my kind of flavor. What kinds of changes did you make to the recipe to allow for all the extra lemon?

Your pictures are so beautiful! I can almost taste the flavors through the photos. Your Mom must just love that the two of you enjoy baking and are so creative. Milk from your cows? Now that is great ice cream =D

See, this is why I need some girls around here...teenage boys, while willing to eat ABSOLUTELY anything and everything not nailed down, very rarely will MAKE anything. How nice for your mother to have you making things...trust me, I know.

I thought I would try the strawberry lemon combo someone had done, and then I thought maybe the raspberry lemon one another had done, and then I saw this lemon one you made, and well, that's it...that's the ONE I am trying next. Great job as it looks luscious!

I grew up on milk "straight from the cow" also and you can't beat it for taste. You just can't beat it.

I love lemon. Next time I'll have to skip the fruit and see how just the lemon tastes! Great job!

I wish I had some way to get raw cow's milk -- it tastes so good. And your lemon ice cream is a beautiful contrast to all the purple ones out there. It looks great!
