TWD~Granola Grabbers

This weeks recipe I would have to say was very good. We made a few changes though, we skipped the peanuts, almonds and raisins. Instead we used pecans, cranberries and added cinnamon extract, we decided to go for a more fall feel! We also accidentally forgot the wheat germ! Whoops! But we did use all whole wheat flour so I think that's maybe why they turned out. We brought these to our church potluck and everyone really liked them! Thank you Michelle for picking this recipe we really enjoyed it!

i used pecans too - but what a great idea, to put a pecan half on top! that extra bite would be great.

I love that you added pecans. I was thinking about substituting the peanuts for pecans but decided to go peanuts at the last minute. Next time I'll do the pecans on your rec! Great job!

Yum...love the idea of cinamon. Was surprised that it didn't call for any flavorings...vanilla, cinniamon...nuttin' guess it was counting on all the flavors from the granola and such.

Oooh, I love the fall flavors idea! I think cinnamon and cranberries naturally go well with oatmeal (or granola). Yum!

That's a lovely pic of the cookie. I like that you forgot the wheatgerm and did not add the peanuts - these were items that I think spoiled the cookie. Your recipe sounds delicious.
