We are back!

It feels great to be back in our own kitchen again! We really missed it:) Upon arriving home we received a phone call asking if we would like 14 gallons of 'old' raw milk at a extremely low price. Our first thought was 'Sure why not, we can make cheese with it!' So yes, we bought the 14 gallons and this morning have been scurrying around the kitchen making all kinds of things pertaining to milk. With the temps hitting triple digits all week I think ice cream might be on the menu, as well as other types of cheeses. Right now most of our kitchen endeavors are limited to using milk, so no new recipes for a while. Now that we are home the updates should be more frequent.
